Kim has been in the mortgage industry for over 28 years, first as a retail & commercial loan officer and most recently (the past 18 years) working for a couple of the nations top wholesale lenders.  After moving to California in 1987, she began working for Crossland Savings as their Assistant Vice President and Branch Manager over the San Diego office, assisting mortgage brokers in the placement of residential loans.  In 1991, she started the Southern California territory for Headlands Mortgage, which became GreenPoint Mortgage in 1995.  Kim and her little team were responsible for funding over $500,000,000 in loans in their little section of San Diego County during her last year there, in 2001!  Her team claimed top honors in company as being the leading producing team for many years running!  In 2002 she relocated back to Texas for GreenPoint to open the Plano office, and oversee Houston and Phoenix as their V.P. Regional Sales Manager for the Southwest.

A little over a year ago, Kim decided to fulfill a lifelong dream of living on her farm.  With horses and dogs in tow, she made the decision to give up the city life and move to the country. That decision also included opening her own business, Texas First Lending, in her hometown.
